Hello, my name is Irving Milano, and I’m the assistant pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Nuevo Comienzo Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. And I’d like to talk about my experience with the Audiofusion wireless in ear monitor system.
We are small Spanish church in the heart of Wilkes-Barre. And even though we’re small church, we have about 5 musicians and 9 singers. We run floor wedges. It’s a little tough when all the voices get together on stage. But I’ve been looking for solutions in the last couple years. The problem has always been cost.
I actually own the Shure PSM 300. I bought it about 3 years ago from a company and paid almost $900. And it’s normally a little hard for a church to make the transition to in-ear monitors. But I said I need to commit, because we want to add click tracks by the end of the year.
Then I stumbled on Audiofusion. And the fact that their system is such a great price and is stereo… It’s been a lifesaver. You could imagine how complicated this process would be with 14 people on stage. Normally, having separate stereo mixes would be unthinkable. But Audiofusion has made that possible for us.
So, each singer can pan their own voice to one side (or the center) and pan the instruments and click track to the other side. They have the freedom to set up their own monitor system however they see fit.
All in all, It’s an awesome product! Quality, sound, and customer service is top notch. In fact, I sent Audiofusion an email. And 2 minutes later someone called me back. Think about that… 2 minutes after I sent the email! That’s customer service!
So, right now we have 2 licenses. My plan is to get the rest of them in the next couple weeks. We’ll need 9 total.
I’ve been working to set up the routers and get the whole monitor system in place. There’s a ton of help on the website, the Facebook page, and Audiofusion even has tutorial videos on YouTube that show you how to set the whole thing up. It’s a big help.
Overall, I’m very happy with the product. Not only is it affordable, but it’s amazing having the dual stereo. It makes a huge difference. One of my singers was even testing it yesterday. He loves it.
Two things I want to say for anyone else using the system:
– You need to make sure that location services are off on your iPhone.
– Your iPhone must be on airplane mode.
Once those two settings are off… You’re good to go.
