The audio signal comes directly from your digital mixer or audio interface and connects to SoundCaster, running on your Mac.

SoundCaster will send the digital audio signal out of your Mac over an Ethernet cable to the Wi-Fi router.

Your Wifi router will broadcast to your mobile device(s) running Performer.

Once up and running, all your musicians have to do is connect their earphones and tap the Performer icon on their phones or tablets to start the app. It will automatically find the rest of the system and download all of the labeling and all the information that they might need for each of the instrument channels. You literally just plug in your ear phones, start the app and start listening right away.

When the band gets up on stage there are usually only tiny tweaks based on the venue or audience size making long sound checks a thing of the past. You can also opt to give Director to a sound technician and he or she can make tweaks during a performance.

With the help of the Director app running on a tablet the entire set-up including the labels, the icons and the levels can all be done ahead of time at rehearsal and all in one place.

If you get in trouble on stage the sound engineer can listen directly to your monitor feed and hear exactly what you are hearing and make adjustments.
