Buying and Installing Audiofusion

Getting started with Audiofusion is easy. SoundCaster runs on your MacBook Pro or iMac while each musician runs Performer on their phones. For more help choosing the hardware you need, check out our post on choosing the right gear. The apps are available from the Apple’s iOS App Store here and Mac App Store here. The installation process is easy:

Purchase and install SoundCaster on your MacBook Pro or iMac running macOS 10.12.0 or later.

Performer is a free download. The initial $99 download of SoundCaster will allow you to connect one Performer at a time. You can add additional connections as needed through in-app purchasing. Connecting a five member band, therefore, require purchasing 4 additional connections. If you plan to also run Director on an iPad, only one Director can be connected at the same time. Director is a separate $99 download but comes with its own connection.
