Maximizing your battery life will help you get the most out of your devices while performing. The following suggestions will help optimize your device and extend your battery life.
- Keep the screen locked on Performer or Director, whenever possible.
- Update to the latest software.
- Turn off iCloud access.
- Dim the screen or turn on Auto-Brightness.
- Enable airplane mode and turn Wi-Fi back on. Note that you cannot make or receive calls while in Airplane mode.
- Disable Background App Refresh for apps you don’t need while performing.
- Disable location services.
- On SoundCaster or Director, disable any inputs that aren’t being used. Use Master input switch to disable all audio when not in use (such as between sound check and performance).
